Man Jen "Mitch" Chen Ward

Man Jen “Mitch” Chen Ward, 80, of Port St Lucie, passed away on July 24th 2020. Mitch was born in Kaohsiung Taiwan on August 26th 1939. She was a resident of Sandpiper Bay in Port St Lucie from 1976 – 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Ward.

Mitch was known to many as “Nini.” She is survived by her four children and six grandchildren. Survivors include May Ann Ward Lowe (husband Jeff Lowe, grandchildren Rachel and Kevin), Shirley Ward Stabinski (husband Mike Stabinski, grandchild Daniel), Patrick Ward (late wife Rhonda Ward, step-son Nelson, great-granddaughter Mariella) and Gregory Ward (wife Aika Ward, grandchildren Bron and Matteo).

Mitch had a passion for cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and reading her Chinese Kung-Fu magazines. She also loved to walk around her neighborhood.

Mitch also enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard. They traveled all across the world. One of their fondest trips was traveling in a van throughout the United States. From coast to coast, they visited national parks, ate lots of food and camped together.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
