Maggie Estephanie Hill

August 24, 1988 — January 13, 2022

Maggie Estephanie Hill is resting in God’s loving arms after passing away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the young age of 33 from breast cancer. Maggie’s fierce 7-year fight with the disease left a devastated community of family and friends behind but she is gratefully now free from all pain and suffering as our Lord wipes the tears from her eyes and shows her the beauty that is heaven.

Born in New Rochelle New York on August 24th, 1988, she was welcomed by her devoted parents Fermelio and Rosa Conde and older brother Michael. Rosa fondly tells of the day Maggie was born; so many flowers were delivered to her hospital room that the nurses asked if she was a real princess. And the answer was yes. The family soon moved to Hollywood, FL as they were not fans of the brutal cold and sought a warmer climate reminiscent to that of their native country of Cuba. Maggie thrived in her tight-knit family all of whom were grateful to be blessed with such a fun, sensitive, and generous little girl. Maggie was the quintessential apple of her father’s eye, loved beyond measure and darling to all who met her.
Maggie’s primary years were spent in Davie County, FL. Her brother Michael reflected that these were the fondest memories she had as a child. She loved the community she grew up in. She was a good student, loved fashion, music, and most of all her many friends who she maintained close relationships with throughout her life.

In 2004, Maggie and her family relocated to Port St. Lucie, FL where she attended and later graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School. After graduation, Maggie entered the workforce in a series of odd jobs before settling into her career at Metro PCS’s corporate store on US 1. She loved her job very much and excelled greatly in her position working with the public. During her tenure there, Maggie developed many friendships with her fellow sales reps, managers and directors. These were friends who became like family to her and offered her tremendous support in her greatest time of need. She spoke with a sense of pride and accomplishment of her time there where she remained an employee until December of 2021.
In the fall of 2011, Maggie married the love of her life James Hill. Maggie and James had a collaborative and caring relationship. It was based on mutual support and a deep love for each other. This unconditional love and support carried over to her children whom she loved more than life itself. Genisis and Amia were everything to her. Both girls brought immense laughter and joy to her as she watched them grow to the young ladies they are today.

Maggie is survived by her husband James Hill of Bridgeport, Connecticut, daughters Genisis Ramirez and Amia Hill, parents Fermelio and Rosa Conde, Maternal grandmother Rosa Retureta, brother Michael Conde, in laws Luis and Evette Rodriguez, nephews Xavier and Julian Conde, Anthony, Jovan, Noah, Julius, and her niece Roslyn.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Ramon Conde, paternal grandmother Luisa Cabrera, and maternal grandfather Alberto Nunez Barrera.

The family would like to thank Treasure Coast hospice for their support and compassion.
