Luis Felipe Velazquez-Roman, 64, passed away October 17, 2020 in West Palm Beach, FL.
Luis was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in Fort Pierce for the last 6 years coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He worked for the St. Lucie County School District as a ground’s keeper. Luis loved going to the beach and playing sports, especially basketball. He was a wonderful family man and always put his family first. He adored his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Maria Velazquez, of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Jessica Ann Velazquez, of Fort Pierce, FL, Maria Arroyo and Katrina Lee Arroyo both of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Jose Torres, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Luis Velazquez, Jr., of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Nitza Fernandez, of Puerto Rico and Nancy Santiago, of Connecticut; brother, Alexander Velazquez, of Georgia and 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services: A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21 from 5-7 PM with a wake service at 6 PM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 10 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
