Linda D. Coop, 63, of Fort Pierce passed away on December 31, 2018.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael, and sister, Denise, cousin, Jean & extended family of Louisiana, and Michael’s family-brother Dennis & wife Becky, numerous nieces & nephews as well as grand-nieces & nephews.
Born September 14, 1955 in Knoxville, TN, she was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1972.
A lifelong NASCAR fan, she also loved her UT Volunteers- football & basketball. However, she was most ardent about fishing. She & Mike were fixtures at Jetty Park every weekend. Our beaches and ocean were her sanctuary.
Recently retired, she was a loyal Wal-Mart employee for more than 30 years and will be missed by the dear friends she made there.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any environmental cause or Humane Society because she cared deeply about our planet and all the creatures who need our support.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 1-4 PM at Lakewood Park Village Hall, 7508 Jennings Way, Fort Pierce. Please join us as we commemorate her selfless, generous, loving spirit. Dress Happy! (Big Orange will be appreciated)
