Kyle Cocchia, 29, died on May 21, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Cocchia was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Kyle graduated from Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce and then received his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from I.R.S.C. He began his insurance career in high school working for his grandmother at Marie Howell Insurance Agency in Fort Pierce and was most recently employed as a licensed insurance agent with Wiglesworth-Rindom Insurance Agency in Stuart, Florida. He was a member of the Discovery Church in Fort Pierce and was Boy Scout growing up and most recently a Boy Scout leader once his stepson joined.

Survivors include his mother & stepfather, Michele & Ralph Landestoy of Vero Beach, FL; grandmother, Susan Daley of Palm Beach, FL; father, Richard Cocchia of Palm Beach, FL; fiancé, Samantha Schmidt of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Jason Cocchia of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepsons, Johnathan Schmidt and Dylan Renie of Port St. Lucie, FL; siblings, Theresa (Anthony) Stubbs of Port St. Lucie, FL, Maryellen (Kevin) Preston of Wesley Chapel, Joey (Heather) Shaffer of Port St. Lucie, FL, Christopher Cocchia of Vero Beach, FL and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marie Howell, grandfather, Herbert Baker, grandfather Richard Cocchia Sr., uncle, Robert Howell, cousin, Robby Howell.

Kyle was a true outdoorsman. He loved to be out on his boat fishing, golfing, or camping. He had a passion for rebuilding classic cars and loved car shows. He was devoted to his family and always had his boys, nieces and nephews around him.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Discovery Church, 4441 South 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
