Joseph James Pacheco

Joseph “Papa Joe” Pacheco, 86, passed away on July 10, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Papa Joe was born in Providence, Rhode Island in 1932 and moved to Fort Pierce in 1995 coming from Miami Florida.
Mr. Pacheco was the Post Commander of the American Legion #358 and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #8058, a member of Am Vets Post 15, Fraternal Order of Eagles #3582, B.P.O.E. #1520, Moose Lodge 258 and Korean War Vets #106. Joe was employed with Eastern Airlines for 33 years. He was also a member of St. Marks Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, camping and boating. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Miami Dolphins and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Corinne Pacheco; son, Paul J. Pacheco; daughters, Ann M. Wood and Jane J. Silva; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice in memory of Joseph Pacheco.
