Jeffrey P. Brennan

November 19, 1959 — March 7, 2022

Jeffrey P. Brennan, 62, passed away March 7, 2022 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Jeffrey was born November 19, 1959 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Gerald and Elizabeth Brennan.

After High School, Jeffrey joined the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Badger at Pearl Harbor, HI (1986-1990). While serving his country he earned the Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Humanitarian Service Medal before he was Honorably Discharged. He was a Honolulu Police Officer in the 1990’s. Jeffrey was currently working for his fellow Veterans as an Inventory Management Specialist for the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Jeffrey was a loving, generous, amazing husband and father, who had a heart of gold. Jeffrey will be remembered as a great brother. He relished his Irish heritage, was full of life and laughter. He loved visiting Pennsylvania, especially Knoebel’s Amusement Park. He will be remembered as a good, good man deep to his core and a friend to everyone, a jokester, who could make anyone laugh. His own laughter could be heard a mile away and he was the life of the party wherever he went.

Jeffrey enjoyed boating, fishing, and coaching little league baseball and softball. He loved cooking, especially on the grill.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Sandy Brennan of Port St. Lucie, FL; children, Jeffrey Ryan (Briana Casey) Brennan of Port St. Lucie, FL, Stephanie H. Brennan of Port St. Lucie, FL and Taylor E. Brennan, of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Brennan of Scranton, PA; siblings, Judith Kosik, Gerald Brennan Jr, John Brennan, Joan Harrington, Joseph (Janet) Brennan, Jacqueline (James) Cortese, all of Scranton, PA.
