Jean J. (Jones) Becker, 89, died May 18, 2021 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Becker was born in Syracuse, New York on April 5, 1932 to Lawrence T. & Esther Jones.
Jean was a homemaker. She graduated from Assumption High School, Syracuse, NY.
She was a member of the Red Hat’s Club and the Christian Family Movement. She was also proud to be a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) teacher and a Girl Scout leader. In her free time, she loved traveling, playing cards, playing Bingo, and dancing.
Survivors include her sons, Lawrence “Larry” Becker and wife, Mary of Vero Beach, FL and Marty Becker and wife, Teresa of Hinsdale, MA; daughters, Laura Becker of Framingham, MA and Peggy Shirley of Florence, MA; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to your local Hospice.
Services: A memorial service will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, FL on Thursday, June 10th at 10:00 AM. Her remains will be placed with her husband’s remains in their memorial garden.
