Janice "Jan" Mccreary

Janice “Jan” McCreary, 67, died March 6, 2020 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to the Treasure Coast in 1981.
Jan graduated from Indian River Community College with her Associates in Nursing. She was a nurse at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Rehab for 15 years. She was a devoted nurse and mother. She loved visiting the beach, traveling, taking family to Disney, visiting the Bahamas and was proud to have visited all the islands. She was also an avid reader who loved baking, especially chocolate chip cookies and was a local expert PB&J maker for her son and friends.
Survivors include her son, Branden McCreary of Vero Beach, FL; sister, Susan (Ron) Watson of Strongsville, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Anne Maruszak.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 3:30-4:30 PM with a service to follow at 4:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
