Jane E. Forbes, 69, passed away on November 20, 2017 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Forbes was born in Queens, New York and moved to Fort Pierce 40 plus years ago.
Jane was a volunteer and council commissioner with Boy Scouts of America for over 30 years, touching many lives. She was in legal work for 50 years and was a member of the Elks.
Survivors include her sons, Jason (Crystal) Forbes of Louisville, KY, Joseph (Tonya) Forbes of Panama City, FL; sister, Lorriane Mallon of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Raegan, Easton, and Hali Forbes; cousins, Dennis Mallon of Fort Pierce, FL and Francine Obermeyer of Stuart, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Forbes.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM at White City Cemetery.
