Jacqueline St. Aubrey

April 12, 1926 — May 28, 2018

Jacqueline St. Aubrey (Jaci), 92, of North Hutchinson Island, Florida passed away peacefully in her home on May 28, 2018.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 12, 1926 and raised by her single parent Mary Seckora.

She was preceded in death by her mom Mary, brother John and husband Will Plevik. Jackie leaves behind her three children William Frederick Plevik, Vero Beach, Patricia Abendroth, North Hutchinson Island and Jobe Plevik also of North Hutchinson Island, Florida, along with her grandchildren John Abendroth, Christopher Abendroth, Sara Rodais and Jamie Gaard. Jackie enjoyed her great-grandchildren Chase Abendroth, Ryan Meadows, and newly born twins to Sara, Elodie and Alexandra, as well as her great-great-grandchildren Bella and Sophie Meadows. She also leaves behind dear friends Janet Mennella of Long Island and Jane Gaard of Ft. Lauderdale.

She lived a blessed life on the south shore of Long Island, New York, Tucson, Arizona and lastly on the Treasure Coast here in Florida. Jaci was an independent business woman and interior decorator, an accomplished artist and author. Jacqueline was raised Catholic but embraced all religions, Science of the Mind, was a Reiki practitioner, a graduate of EST and most importantly a free thinker who loved the planet and nature. She traveled Europe, North Africa, Central and South America and, lucky for us, was an avid and talented photographer. She was a devout reader and loved to collect books of all genres.

Her smile and sense of humor stayed with her throughout her life, even while successfully battling heart surgery and three bouts of lymphoma cancer. She was an inspiration to many, a friend to all and a survivor, who lived a blessed life as a proud member of the greatest generation. She will be missed greatly and never forgotten.

A celebration of her life will be held in her home on 4100 N. Hwy A1A #222, North Hutchinson Island, Florida on Saturday, June 9th at 4 PM and is open to all who knew and
loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
