Jack B. Melton

Jack B. Melton passed away peacefully on June 30, 2020. Born April 15, 1931 in Owosso, Michigan, he was a father of four, grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 2. He was a lifelong member of the Elks and had a powerful love of golf and old western movies. His commitment to work and responsibility were seen in his positions with Erb Lumber in Michigan and again with Erb when he moved to Florida in 1975. He launched his own business, Garage Door Sales, in 1979 and worked hard to ensure it was a place known for outstanding service and commitment to the community.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne, three brothers, Frank, Bud, and Gerald and three sisters, Esther, Faye and Nora. He is survived in death by his brother Ted (Las Vegas, Nevada), his sister Doris (Greensboro, North Carolina), his son Ken, his son Michael (Jensen Beach, Florida), his daughter Denise (Algonac, Michigan), and his daughter, Cindi (Edina, Minnesota).
