Gary Lee Maxwell passed away peacefully on March 16th, 2020 in Fort Pierce, FL at the age of 81.
Gary was born in Linton, IN on January 7th, 1939. He moved to Florida in 1958 where he has resided ever since. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Gary was a wonderful man with a love for airplanes. He worked as an airplane mechanic for 34 years with Grumman Aircraft and later became employed with The Treasure Coast Jet Center for 18 additional years. He had a love for animals and people.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Winifred “Winnie” Maxwell, of Fort Pierce, FL; Brother, Kenny (Janet) Maxwell; Nephews, Kenny (Jackie) Maxwell Jr. and Michael Ramsey all of Indiana.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kay Maxwell.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL at 1:00 PM.
