Frederick Valentine Blakeslee, Jr., 61, died March 9, 2020.
He was born in Pocono Pines, PA, and lived in Fort Pierce for 60 years.
He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He worked as an electrician for 35 years including 30 years as the owner/operator of Blakeslee Electric. He attended St. Anastasia Catholic School and John Carroll High School.
Survivors include his mother Josephine Blakeslee of Fort Pierce; son Fred Blakeslee III; sisters, Sandra Matula, Theresa Goldstein, all of Fort Pierce and Nancy Hopper of Myakka City; 5 nephews and 2 nieces; and 1 granddaughter, Emma Schwartz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Blakeslee, Sr.
Services: Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. March 14, 2020 at Haisley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a burial service at White City Cemetery.
