Evelyn Scott

Evelyn Scott, 92, died June 9, 2020 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Mrs. Scott was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Evelyn was a social butterfly and never met a stranger. She loved to work; she worked at Great Value for 37 years then to I.R.C.C. and was a cash register instructor and finally her last job was at Wal-Mart. She also loved to shop.

Survivors include her daughter, Jody (Derrell) Abercrombie of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Steve Smith and Wayne Scott both of Fort Pierce, FL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Joe Smith, 2nd husband, Reynold “Scotty” Scott, son, Robert Joe Smith and grandchild, Leslie Smith.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 10-11 AM with a service to be held at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
