Elizabeth Ann Weiss

Elizabeth Anne Weiss passed away on April 18th at the age of 65 under Hospice care and is now in heaven lovingly looking over us. She was born on December 13, 1954 to Geraldine and Robert Weiss in Bronxville, NY. Elizabeth was never without a smile on her face or cheerful words for family and friends. She is survived by her husband Charlie, mother Geraldine, cousins Bruce and Richard as well as many other close relatives and dear friends. Two of the biggest joys in her life will miss her dearly, Shannon and Seamus, two beautiful Labrador retrievers.
Elizabeth graduated from Trinity College in Burlington, VT in 1976 with a degree in Business. Her many friends from Trinity will miss her dearly. She began her Accounting career in White Plains, NY where she met her future husband while working at AMF Incorporated. They were married 33 fabulous years. Elizabeth and Charlie had many wonderful adventures over the years travelling throughout the United States and parts of Europe.
In the early 2000's Elizabeth showed Charlie the beauty of Vermont and they moved there in 2005 just before Charlie retired. Elizabeth was especially fond of outdoor activities including gardening. Her passion for the garden led her to work at a Burlington garden center upon her retirement where she shared her passion with customers and co-workers.
She loved giving back and became a long time member of the Trinity College alumni board concluding her term as co-President with her dear friend Marybeth Willard. Three years ago Elizabeth and Charlie bought a home in Port St. Lucie. They continued to spend their summers in Vermont with their dear friends in the Sand Dunes. Elizabeth especially enjoyed her Friday evenings on Wendy's deck sharing time and laughs with her friends.
