Elberto Pena, 78, died July 28, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Pena was born in Subachoque, Colombia and resided in Vero Beach, Florida.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an Accountant for Bank of America in New York, New York for 34 years. He volunteered with the Meals on Wheels for 5 years and loved stamp collecting, soccer and baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Pena; sons, Elbert Pena, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL and Gregory Pena of Brentwood, NY; daughter, Caroline Perez of Bay Shore, NY; granddaughter, Maya Rae Perez of Bay Shore, NY; grandson, Joshua Perez of Bay Shore, NY. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Moises Pena and Jorge Pena.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, Vero Beach. An inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
