Edna Mae “Granny” Felton

Edna Mae Felton was born on September 5, 1925 to the late Prince R. E. Lang and Daisy (Simpkins) Lang in Thomasville, Florida. Edna was one of 6 children and grew up in Perryville, Florida.

Edna Mae received her general public education in Perryville, Florida & worked in Agricultural in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Her Christian life included her being a devoted member of Triumph the Church & Kingdom of God in Christ under the Fellowship of Pastor John Quarterman and Shepherd, Elder Ruben Mitchell. Edna served as an Usher and Choir Member.

She truly enjoyed helping others, fishing and thrifting.

Edna leaves to cherish her memories: Brother Willis Lang of Fort Pierce, Florida; Granddaughters, Valencia L. Byrd of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Latrisa Faison of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Angelia (Ralph) Jenkins of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Ronda Walker of Atlanta, Georgia, Grandsons, Willie George (Donna)Crenshaw, Jr of Buford, Georgia and Terryl Turner of Fort Pierce, Florida & great, great-great, great-great-great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Host of dear friends including Ruby Jones of Fort Pierce, Florida, Sam Moore of Fort Pierce, Florida, Gwendolyn Rawls of Fort Pierce, Florida, Greg Simpson of Fort Pierce, Florida, and many sorrowing family and spiritual friends.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oscar Felton, daughters Sallie Mae Crenshaw-Johnson and Sarah Lee Turner, granddaughters; Wanda Barnes, Dorsell Curry and Sabrina Lee, sisters Ethel M. Jenkins and Annie Lee Thomas brothers Albert Charles Lang and Eddie Lang.

An inurnment will take place on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
