Dr. John R. King, Jr. Fort Pierce, Florida Dr. John R. King, Jr., 73, died February 13, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Dr. King was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida. Dr. King graduated from Dan McCarty High School and then went on to receive his doctorate in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He taught at the University of Central Florida and John Carroll High School. He then became the president of Suncoast Grove & Nursery in Fort Pierce, FL. He enjoyed collecting antique tools, traveling, and the outdoors. Survivors include his mother, Gladys King of Fort Pierce, FL and sister, Carla King of Stuart, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, John R. King. Memorial donations may be made to the Vitas Hospice www.vitas.com Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. An inurnment will take place in Prentiss, Mississippi.
