Mrs. Deborah (Deby) Clark Lanier passed away Monday June 13, 2022. She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Lanier was born on March 15, 1933 in Savannah, Georgia to John Raleigh Clark and Nellie Womack Clark. She was a graduate of Savannah High School, Armstrong College and Florida State College in Jacksonville, earning her Nursing Degree. Nursing was her passion.
Mrs. Lanier was the epitome of a true Southern Lady; she embraced that heritage every single day.
Mrs. Lanier enjoyed boating, fishing, and traveling. She was a skilled seamstress and spent countless hours hand embroidering wearables. She also loved to create beautiful greeting cards that became keepsakes for the recipients. Above all else her family was most important to her.
Survivors include her daughter Renee (Bruce) Stanford; son, Rusty (Stephanie) Lanier; granddaughter, Trista (Jesse) Strell; great granddaughters, Amelia, Kenzie, Kendra and Avery; grandsons Ryan Stanford, Matt (Megan) White; great grandson Luke; sisters Virginia Yarber and Frances Mustakas and also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Lanier is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Robert Lanier, Sr.
