Daniel J. Swain Sr, 89, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away January 9, 2022.
Daniel was born July 8, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to parents, Vernon and Nora Swain. He married Marian Straub April 12, 1959 in Brooklyn, together they had 3 children.
After high school, Daniel joined the United States Air Force and served proudly as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War. Daniel was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Daniel was proud of his vegetable garden and loved to fish, as well as spending time with his family.
Survivors include loving wife of 62 years, Marian of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Linda Swain-Allen of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Christopher Swain and wife, Charlene of Seaford, NY; daughter-in-law, Mary Swain of Port St. Lucie, FL; 3 grandchildren, Destiney, Seaira, and Jesse. He was preceded by his parents, Vernon and Nora; and son, Daniel J. Swain Jr.

A visitation will be held by the family, Monday, January 17, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM with the Service to start at 4PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. Burial will take place at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida at a later date.
