Christine Marie McTigue Lanigan, 88, passed away on July 14, 2020 at her home in Fort
Pierce, Florida.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York to James and Catherine McTigue. Christine moved to Fort Pierce in 1980 coming from Wantagh, New York.
Christine loved her family, bowling, golfing, and traveling. She worked as a travel agent for several years. She was part of the Red Hat Society and attended many Red Hat luncheons. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Leesa) Lanigan, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Edward (Michele) Lanigan of Texas; daughters, Susan (Bill) Field of Wantagh, NY and Maureen (Kenny) Winn of Jensen Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward P. Lanigan of Fort Pierce, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Florida.
