Charlott Joann Hall

May 5, 1950 — July 26, 2020

Charlott Joann Hall, 70, passed away July 26, 2020 in Vero Beach, FL.

Charlott was born in Peroria, Illinois on May 5th, 1950 to Leo and Mildred Weaver. She graduated from Dan McCarty Highschool in 1968. With a knack for numbers and general ledger pages, Charlott graduated with her Associates Degree in Accounting from Indian River Community College. She later retired from the accounting department with Fort Pierce Housing Authority.

In October of 1969 Charlott wed the love of her life Dewey Hall. They had two daughters together, Kristy and Sherry. Charlott loved being a mother and later got to enjoy the pleasure of being a grandmother to her two grandchildren.

She was an active member of The Church of Christ and enjoyed worshipping with her church family. She also loved to garden, and even grew and canned her own vegetables!

Charlott enjoyed camping, fishing, riding through the woods, and traveling but most of all, being with her family and grandchildren. She admired butterflies and loved to watch them in her garden.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dewey Hall of Fort Pierce, FL; Daughters, Sherry White of Vero Beach, FL and Kristy Riso of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Sisters, Nancy Adams of Lenoir, NC and Katherine Merchant of Oldsmar, FL; Brother, Jack Weaver of Vero Beach, FL; and her grandchildren, Leonard Partrick Huff of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Rylie White of Vero Beach, FL. She is predeceased by her father, Leo Weaver of Franklin, NC and her mother Mildred Flick-Weaver of Fort Pierce, FL.

Charlott was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her joyful spirit and loving heart will be greatly missed.

The following quote from Mother Theresa was one of Charlott’s favorites and was her inspiration for life and for what she believed in; “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God’s kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, and kindness in your smile.”

Charlott has flown home to be with her Lord and Savior.
