Charles Connor Ross

Charles Connor Ross, 72, of Jensen Beach, FL passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022.
The son of Lee G. and Katherine Connor Ross, Charlie started his life-long career as a baker in his family’s Foxon Home Bakery in East Haven, CT. He then served his country honorably in Vietnam as a crew chief door gunner aboard a UH-1H Huey helicopter. Charlie moved to Florida in 1974, where he worked for Publix as a master baker until his retirement in 2011.
Charlie was an avid history buff, fisherman, and a solid player in his neighborhood poker club.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Ross and her husband Jeff Lundy of New York City, his sisters Carole (Art) Lilley, Estero, FL and Katherine Ross, Port St. Lucie, FL, brothers Jerry Ross of Milford, CT and Ross Edwards of Jensen Beach, and four nephews and four nieces.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Donald E. of Atlanta, GA.
There will be a memorial for Charlie on May 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Treasure Coast Hospice Community Room, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997 with lunch to follow
