Charles William Bracken

Charles William (Bill) Bracken was born on March 29, 1927 in Western North Carolina and died June 29, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
During WWII, Bill served in the US Army and in the US Army-Air Force during the Korean War. Bill loved to sing and play bluegrass, country, and gospel music on his guitar. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Olene Talley Bracken, and sons, John Wayne Bracken of Batson, TX and Bushrod Bracken. Bill’s 4 sisters and 4 brothers preceded him in death.
