Celeste Joan Deflorio

Celeste Joan DeFlorio, 89, passed away on October 4, 2021 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. DeFlorio was born on August 5, 1932 in Long Island City, New York (Queens) and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Celeste graduated from St. Mary’s School in Long Island City and Long Island City High School. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Women’s Club. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, doing puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with family.

Survivors include her children, Michael DeFlorio of Georgia, Alan DeFlorio of South Carolina, Celeste DeFlorio of Florida, David DeFlorio of Florida and Chris DeFlorio of Florida; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Robert DeFlorio and son, Kenneth Robert DeFlorio.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 pm with a Wake Service at 5:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
