Betty L. Benson

Betty Benson, age 83, passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2018 in Fort Pierce. She was born in Oswego, NY. She worked as a mother, baker, waitress, and also a beautician. She moved to Fort Pierce, FL in 1986. She worked at the Saint Lucie County Jail as a corrections assistant. She then transferred to the warrants division and retired in 2009 from the Saint Lucie County Sheriff office.

Betty is survived by her daughter Luanne (Charles) Wyatt and sons Mark (Cherri) Engle and Patrick (Amy) Engle. She has 13 grand kids and 22 great grand kids.

She loved being surrounded by her family and really loved having everyone around for the holidays. She also enjoyed watching football and baseball and solving the daily crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all.
