Benny Leroy Shepherd, 63, passed away on December 10, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Shepherd was born in Carson City, Michigan and moved to Fort Pierce in 1981 from Alma, Michigan.
Ben was a Veteran of the US Navy. He was a mechanic and worked for Becker Groves for multiple years and had his own auto shop. Ben was able to fix anything. He loved fishing, muddin, and collecting wooden cars and ships. He enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories; he was the life and jokester of the family.
Survivors include his daughters, Krissy (Michael) Conover of Fort Pierce, FL and Tenesha Miller of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Benny (Katherine) Shepherd of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Carol Shepherd of Michigan; sister, Susan Shepherd of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Rick (Dee) Shepherd of Fort Pierce, FL and Randy (Dana) Shepherd of Michigan; 10 grandchildren, Cody, Dakota, Wyatt, Rafe, Austin, Lane, CJ, Cheyenne, Lance, and RJ; and one great-grandchild on the way, Peyton.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Ben’s residence, contact the family for further information.
