Arturo “Turtle” Cortez, 27, died November 22, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Arturo was born in Salinas, California and lived in Fort Pierce, Florida.
He graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School and served in U. S. Marine Corps as a Marine mechanic. He loved skateboarding and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Maria Irma Cortez; brothers, Mario and David Cortez and sister, Erika Cortez all of Fort Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Enrique Cortez.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 9:30 AM -12:30 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will follow at 1:00 PM at San Juan Diego, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
