Andrew Manuel Rocha Cerda

After a courageous fight, Andrew Manuel Rocha Cerda, 31, was called home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Andrew was born on July 26, 1989 in Pomona, CA and was raised in Ft. Pierce from a young age. He attended Ft. Pierce Westwood High School. Andrew worked as an a/c installer for many years at Seacoast Air Conditioning.
He also taught himself how to lay tile, do woodworking, etc., by mostly watching YouTube videos and by trial and error. He used those skills to beautifully renovate his home. Andrew was a very kind and giving person and would give you the shirt off his back. If he wasn’t working he would typically be helping someone else, and always with a smile on his face. He had the best smile!
Andrew loved to go thrift store shopping and could not pass by a yard sale without stopping. He could always find a good deal on Offer Up. He also loved going to low rider shows and was a huge fan of the Oakland Raiders.
However, Andrew’s biggest love was his family. He loved his mother and was the best brother to his siblings. He was the most loving and incredible husband to his wife Kaitlyn. She was his true love and he adored her so. He was the best Daddy to their son Drew, who was his pride and joy. He would do absolutely anything for his family.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife Kaitlyn and their son Andrew “Drew” Manuel Cerda, Jr.; mother Erlinda Cerda; brothers Jallme Cerda, Daniel Cerda, Alex Cerda, Robert Cerda, Sylvester Valenzuela and Gregory Lucas; sisters Angelica Gonzalez, Sylvia Pena, Rosemarie Ortiz, Mary Cerda and Yesenia Cerda, as well as 14 nieces and nephews. He will be missed by a vast amount of friends and family, including his mother-in-law Cindy Crowe, sister-in-law Kaylanah Newton and brother-in-law Shawn Newton.
He was predeceased by his father Jesus Cerda, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Haisley Funeral Home in Ft. Pierce. A service will be held at Haisley Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00 am, with burial to follow.
The service can also be viewed via Zoom. You may contact the family for a code. Also, masks will be required to be worn at the funeral home.
