Andrea "Andie" Krukauskas
April 2, 1943 — November 15, 2019
Andrea Krukauskas (Andie, Mrs. K), a long-time resident of Tuckerton, NJ., passed on the 15th of November 2019 at the Harper House is Stuart, FL. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Born in 1943 in Newark, NJ, Andie graduated from St. Michaels School of Nursing in Newark, NJ and later continued her education at St. Joseph’s - Maine Campus. Andie spent her career in nursing as a Supervisor at Somerset Hospital in Somerville, NJ., before moving to Tuckerton, NJ. where she continued as a School Nurse (Mrs. K) at Pinelands Regional High School until her retirement. After Andie retired, she moved to Port St. Lucie, FL.
Andie loved traveling, cruising the world, visiting over 75 Countries, trips to California, the desert and Hawaii, all with her husband Joe by her side. She enjoyed playing cards, trivia night and mostly just spending time with family and close friends. She had a heart of gold and an amazing smile that lit up the room.
Survived by her husband, Joseph Krukauskas, three sons, Robert (BK) Krukauskas of Pacific Beach, CA, Thomas Krukauskas of Egg Harbor City, NJ and Frank Krukauskas of Stuart, FL.; three grandsons, Cody Krukauskas, Zach Krukauskas and Alex Krukauskas, who all brought great joy to her through the years.
Andrea was a wonderful wife, mom and grandmother, as well as mentor to her students, friends and co-workers. Andie couldn’t have imagined the impact she had on so many lives; how much she was loved, how many people’s lives she touched and how much she will be missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4:00-5:00 PM with a Service at 5:00 PM at the Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL. 34984.
