Robert "Bj" Thoman

Robert Thoman, 66, passed away July 14, 2016 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Thoman moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 1983 coming from Yonkers, New York.
BJ was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly serving in the United States Army Special Forces, earning a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He served the Palm Beach Gardens community for ten years as a Police Officer, ending his career as a Lieutenant. Mr. Thoman wore many hats throughout his life. He loved fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include; wife of 35 years Ursula Thoman of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; daughters, Deanna (Preston) Pollen of Jensen Beach, Florida, Kristina (John) Ebmeyer of Tequesta, Florida, daughter, Nicole Thoman of Chicago, Illinois; brother George Thoman of Big Pine Key, Florida and 3 grandchildren: Laurel, Charlotte and Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Thoman’s honor to The Vietnam Veterans of American, Chapter 1041 P.O. Box 2196 Stuart, Florida 34995.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 5PM- 7PM with a service at 6PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
