Robert “Bob” Arthur Powell, 85, died August 23, 2014 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Powell was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Port Saint Lucie in 2011 coming from Barefoot Bay, Florida.
He was a metalurgical engineer and past Grandmaster of the Masonic Lodge for 2 terms. Loved to play golf, poker, watching competitive sports, crossword puzzles, watch movies, and enjoyed technology. He was an avid Steelers fan.
Survivors include his wife, of 16 years, Lori Powell of Port Saint Lucie, FL; daughter Theresa (Larry) Newman of Barefoot Bay, FL; step-son Kris Hedden of Boring, OR; step-daughters Kourtney (Brian) Edge of Burlington, NJ and Ketura M. Abo of McMinnville, OR; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and sister.
Services: A visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 10-11:30 AM with a service to follow at 11:30 AM with a full Masonic burial rite, Pastor David Lewis from The Vero Vineyard Christian Church will be officiating the service, at Haisley Funeral and Cremation Service and Tribute Center in Port St. Lucie.
