Robert “Bob” T. Herndon, 72, died April 20, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Herndon was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce in 1977 coming from Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Prior to retirement, he was the manager at Bell South. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Kevin (Jamie) Herndon of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Betty (David) Neill of St. Lucie Village, FL; brothers, William (Pam) Herndon of The Villages, FL and Tre Walden of Macon, GA; 1 granddaughter, Brianne Herndon of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 1 grandson, Gregory Allen Herndon, Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL; 2 great-granddaughters, Kylie Herndon of Gainesville, FL and Tristen Kackley of Okeechobee, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Allen Herndon and grandson, Devin Scott Herndon.
