Raye Cox

August 27, 1924 — April 12, 2017

A member of one of the first families to settle North Florida, Raye was the daughter of Robert and Jessie Jones.

Raye left this earth with grace and peace on April 12th, 2017. She leaves behind her brother John W. Jones (Connie), her daughters Derenda Bialy (Bob) and Charlene Crowe (Dick), two grandchildren George Ruding III (Rebecca) and Caroline McGuire (Dennis), and a beautiful 8-month-old great-granddaughter Denley Robyn McGuire.

Raye will be remembered for her beautiful smile and fun-loving attitude. She loved wearing hats to match her colorful clothing, breakfast at McDonald’s every morning with her pals, the hours she spent at Curves, and dressing from head to toe in her festive holiday outfits.
