Randall Lacy Walker Ii

December 1, 1969 — February 16, 2017

Mr. Randall Lacy Walker II was born on December 1, 1969 in Vero Beach, FL and resided in Fort Pierce, FL. Randall passed away on February 16, 2017 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

My son, Randall Lacy Walker II left today on his yacht. He will be sailing toward his Dad, Randall Walker Sr. , Grandfathers Weldon Walker and James Dalton, Aunt Diane Dalton and Cousin Seth Brennan. He will be greeting all his loved ones that have sailed before him with his big easy smile and hearty contagious laugh.

Standing on the shore, cherishing his memory, and wishing him fair winds and following seas is his loving family: His devoted Mother, Kathy Channon and Step Father Chris Channon, his children Clarissa, Randall, Brianna and Gabby, granddaughter Delilah, brother Douglas Walker and friend Natalie, brother Jason Walker and his wife Becky, sister Courtney Ferguson and husband Steve, and grandmothers Margie Lloyd, and Betty Dalton.

Beside them are his special love, Rhonda Kelly, best friends Robert and Michelle, Bob and Brenda, and Luis Martinez as well as all of his large and loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will live in their memory and in their hearts and be loved forever…..

At the tender age of fifteen Randy was fishing off the Outer Banks, earning a grown man’s pay. At seventeen he went to work at Barry Reed auto starting a long career that took him from salesperson, to Johnson Chrysler where he became the General Manager. He earned many awards for his sales, including a Chrysler gold ring, trips and other accomplishments.

Randy was a kind and patient friend, always available to extend a helping hand, and an open heart to help those in need. Randy had a zest for life and had great love for all his family and friends. To Chris, his stepfather, he offers thanks for the caring and support, to his special friend, Rhonda, he sends his heartfelt thanks for the devotion, attention, compassion and caring. Those around Randy could tell he had a deep love for Rhonda that he had never experienced before in his life.

He was forever grateful to brother Doug who never left his side, keeping Randy smiling and lifting his spirits daily no matter what.

Thanks to brother Jason, who traveled hundreds of miles many times during Randy’s illness, bringing encouragement, humor and hope.

To his sweet little sister Courtney , thanks for being devoted and always there for him.

Randy knew in his heart he was loved by all his children, Clarissa, Randy, Brianna and Gabby, special daughter, Sam, granddaughter Delilah, and he loved you all in return. Randy will see all of his loved ones ONE DAY, but for now, whenever you want to see him, all you need do is take a walk on the beach with the sea breeze blowing in your face, look out on the ocean toward the rising sun, and in the distance he will be there. As for me, I will be sitting on our swing on South Beach that we often shared, waiting for Randy to throw me a line. I love you, my son, forever and always. Your Loving Mom.
