Michelle L. Heady

Michelle L. (Oakes) Heady, 55 of Ft. Pierce, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

She was born July 14, 1961, in Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of the late William and Mildred (LaFurge) Oakes Sr.. She had been a resident of Ft. Pierce since 1999, coming from Cobelskill, NY.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a mental health aide with ARC of Ft. Pierce.
She was a great Facebook gamer and enjoyed cooking. She would spend hours on her computer making numerous friends on-line and considered them part of her family. One of her favorite things was to spend time with her grandsons, spoiling them as best she could.

Mrs. Heady lived a simple life but lived it to the fullest. Being a loving and caring person to her family and the friends she made on the way was the most important thing in her life.

Michelle is survived by two daughters, Allison M. Williams and her husband Kyle E. of Spring Hill, TN and Amanda C. Rodriguez and her husband David A. of Vero Beach; grandsons, Ethan K. Williams of Spring Hill, TN and Collin A. Rodriguez of Vero beach; a brother, William J. Oakes Jr. of Clifton Park, NY; a sister, Corinne Haggerty of Daytona Beach; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 10 - 11 am, in the Chapel of the Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Rd., Ft. Pierce, FL. Memorial services will be immediately following at 11 am in the Chapel with the Rev. Lee Ganim, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
