Kathie L. Buono, 65, of Fort Pierce, Florida died April 18, 2015 in Stuart, Florida.

Mrs. Buono was born April 16, 1950 in Mineola, Long Island, New York and has lived in Fort Pierce, Florida for over 30 years, moving from St. Augustine, Florida.

Mrs. Buono worked for the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Department. She was an Interior Designer and loved art. She always brought joy to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael A. Buono of Fort Pierce, Fl; daughter Barbara Cosden of Port Saint Lucie, FL; step-children, Nanette Weingartner of New York and Anthony Buono of New York; father, John P. Jones of Stuart, Florida; brother, Jack Jones of California; granddaughters, Ashley Cosden of Stuart, Florida and Melissa Weingartner of New York; grandsons Anthony Cosden of Oklahoma and Alex Weingartner of New York; and great-grandaughter, Serenity Cosden. She was predeceased by her mother Catherine Jones.
