John Joseph Lonergan passed away on September 28, 2016 in Costa Rica where he had long run a successful business.
He will be missed by many family and friends. John was born on September 12, 1978 in New Haven, Ct to Farrell Joseph Lonergan (deceased) and Joan Foley Lonergan (of Port St. Lucie, FL)
He is survived by his wife Eugenia Gatica Lonergan (of Palm City, FL), a sister Christine Lonergan (of Port St. Lucie, FL), a brother James Lonergan (of Buffalo, NY), two children (Hailey Ann Lonergan, 10) and Brock Mario Lonergan, 2), three nieces Michelle Smart (of Fort Pierce, FL), Nicole Lonergan (of Port St. Lucie, FL), Aliyah Dhillon (of Fort Pierce) and one nephew Jayden Dhillon (of Fort Pierce, FL). John will be well remembered as a dedicated and caring son, father, brother, uncle and friend.
He was best known for his larger than life personality, his generous heart and his unending devotion to his family and friends. John was the life of every party, and his door was always open to those who knew him.
Services: Visitation will be held at Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., FL 34984 on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 1-3:00pm with a service to follow at 3:00pm.
