John Wayne Jones

John Wayne “Dub” Jones, 59, passed away September 6, 2014 in Bradenton, Florida.

He was born in Fort Pierce, FL and has been a resident of Okeechobee, FL for the past 10 years.

Mr. Jones was an award winning auto body technician with over 30 years of experience. The majority of his employment was with Minchew Motors in Wallace, NC.
Besides being a hard worker, John had many loves; NASCAR, Dolphins football, and fishing. John had a green thumb and working with florals and plants became his passion. John was a true child of God, a free spirit and a true friend.

Survivors include his sons, John Wayne Jones, Jr., of Gibsonton, FL, Victor Aaron Jones, of Tampa, FL, Johnny Rodriques Jones (Trista Kissner Jones), of Teachey, NC, Adam Wayne Jones, of Rose Hill, NC, and Robert Daniel Jones (Ashley Narron Jones), of Teachey, NC; first wife, Donna Conville of Ashland, AL; second wife, Thelma Jones, of Rose Hill, NC; mother, Pauline Jones Western, of Vero Beach, FL, sisters, Betty Ann Smith, of Fort Pierce, FL and Mary Jones Conrad, of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Brady Cole Jones, Adam Wayne Jones, Jr., Dayton Levi Jones, Alyssa Renee Jones, Jackson Reed Jones, Johnson Waylon Jones, and Camden Elijah Jones; long time companion, Elaine Pickering of Okeechobee, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor C. Jones and brother, Victor M. Jones.
