Jeanette Edna Roberts, age 92, died on December 20, 2017 in Vero Beach, FL.
She was born in Buffalo, NY and moved to Fort Pierce in 1969 coming from Patchen, NY. She moved to Vero Beach in 1979.
She was the owner/operator of Sunshine Patio Land in Vero Beach and worked at Jerri’s Cards & Gifts in Downtown Fort Pierce. She loved to knit, crochet and cross stitch. She was the best baker and she cooked delicious German food. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. She contributed to WWII by making all sorts of lenses for the war effort.
She is survived by: a daughter; Cheryl Robinson of Vero Beach, a son; Gary (Susan) Roberts of Fort Pierce, a daughter; Roxanne (Thomas) Snyder of Hamburg, NY, a son: Roy Joseph Roberts of CO, a daughter; Randi Marie Noffsinger of CO, grandchildren: Troy Robinson, Tammi Robinson, Gary “Bud” Roberts, Jeanette “Jenna” Roberts Hamilton, Joseph Andrew Roberts, Amy Bumbaco, Christopher Snyder, Julia Cooley Melville, James Allen Cooley and John Lunsford Cooley; great-grandchildren: Robert Lambert, Ellianne Roberts, Benjamin and Jesse Hamilton, Andrew, Peyton and Matthew Melville, Catherine, Elizabeth, and Stephen Bumbaco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Joseph Roberts; brothers, William Jr. and Kenneth; and sister, Lucille.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 5:30pm at the Royal Park Condominiums Recreation Room, 1100 Ponce De Leon Circle, Vero Beach, Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice and/or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
