James Leonard Reid
James “Jim” Leonard Reid, 80, died November 18, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Reid was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Florida 25 years ago.
He retired from the U.S. Government doing nuclear plant inspections and from Homewood Assisted Living in Delray Beach as a driver. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during the Korean War and was a P.O.W. He was also a pilot and cruise agent. He loved cruising and was a model train enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Carrol Reid of Fort Pierce, FL; son, James (Pam) Reid, Jr. of Sandwich, IL and Donald Reid of Illinois; daughters, Sharon (Terry) Olsen of Oswego, IL and Debra Reid of Illinois; stepsons, Robert (Becky) Nunn of Port St. Lucie, FL and Christopher Nunn of Sebastian, FL; brother-in-law, Bill Sanford of Vero Beach, FL; 16 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
