James W. Anderer

James W. Anderer passed away January 11, 2017 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.


James was born in Elmhurst, New York. He moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 2012 coming from Cold Spring Harbor, New York, where he lived for 37 years.


James was the owner of an insurance business in Huntington, New York on Long Island. He was a sweet and gentle man. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved playing golf, fishing and skiing. James served in the United States Army.


Survivors include his wife, of 48 years, Julianne Anderer of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; daughters, Nicole (Michael) Notartomas of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Danielle (Hezron) Prince of Clarksburg, Maryland; grandchildren, Mia and Noelle Notartomas of Langhorne, Pennsylvania and Caleb Prince of Clarksburg, Maryland; sister, Kathleen (Andrew) Sullivan of Slingerlands, New York; brothers, Denis Anderer of Southold, New York and Peter (Roseann) Anderer of Louisburg, North Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Saint Bernadette’s Catholic Church 350 NW California Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34986.
