He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked at Coastal Air Services. He loved to off road race and go fishing and riding in the woods.

Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL; step-daughters, Sherry (Darron) Allen of Atlanta, GA, Willicia (Antoine) Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL and Shameckia Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Roger Anderson; sister, Linda Anderson; special friend, Elizabeth Bryant of Fort Pierce, FL; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
