She was born in Queens, New York and lived in Fort Pierce for over 40 years, coming from Southfield, Michigan.
She owned and operated Treasure Coast Ceramics on Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce.
She is survived by her brother, Marty (Patty) Ireland of Plantation, Florida; sister, Susan Byrne of Weston, FL; several nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Ward and brother Raymond Chase.

Services: A visitation will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, and Ft. Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Vista Memorial Gardens in Miami Lakes at 2:30PM.
