Glenn Wheelock, age 89, of Port St Lucie Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 5th, 2016.
He was born in Manitowoc Wisconsin on July 27th, 1926. He met the love of his life Traute and they married on December 6th. 1955 in Germany.
He served his country for 27 years in the United States Army as Chief Warrant Officer Air Defense Artillery and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. After he retired from the Army he worked for the United States Postal Service for 13 years.
He was a devoted husband to Traute Wheelock, a beloved father to Dagmar Figura and father-in- law to Joe Figura, a loving grandfather to Tracy and Travis Figura and a loving great grandfather to Blaine Figura.
