Gilbert Calvin “Gil” Barrett, Sr., 79, died September 9, 2016 in Longwood, Florida.
Mr. Barrett was born in Baltimore, Maryland and resided in Longwood, Florida.
He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his sons, G.C. Barrett, Jr. of Casselberry, FL and Alex Barrett of Orlando, FL; daughter, Melissa Sesta of Palm City, FL; sons, Eric Barrett of Thomasville, NC and Damion Barrett of Casselberry, FL; grandchildren, Michael, Jeff, Taylor, Daphne, Calvin, Miles, Celeste, Caitlin, Keanu, Taylor, Chelsea, Ashley-Jeremy, Katarina, Alexxis, and Jasmine; great-grandchild, Tristan and brother, Ernie Barrett of Fort Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Barrett.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Entombment will follow at White City Cemetery.
