Ethel Platz Brannock, 91, died July 19, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Ethel was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 20 years, coming from Lutherville, Maryland.

She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and served in the Women’s Guild at the Church, was Trustee of Partnerships for America, a member of the Newcomers Club of Port St. Lucie, enjoyed golf and going to the symphony and Riverside Theatre.

Survivors include her daughter, Carole McIntyre; son, Gary Brannock; brother, Gary Platz; sister, June Heck; grandchildren, Patrick McIntyre, Sr., Christopher McIntyre and Edward S. Brannock, II; great-grandchildren, Jordan McIntyre, Taylor Cameron and Patrick McIntyre, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brannock and brother, Herbert Platz.

Memorials in memory of Ethel may be made to the Cuddle Me Program C/O Partnerships for America, 5475 NW St. James Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983 or to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 210 South Indian River Drive, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home with a Service on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Episcopal Church. A Graveside Service will be held in Maryland on Monday, July 28, 2014, with interment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, Maryland.
