Dennis Brophy

Dennis Brophy was born on October 22, 1952 in the city of Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph and Florence Brophy.
He and his mom moved to Vero Beach, FL in 1986 after the passing of his father. His mom then passed away in 2000.
In 2005 he graduated from Nova South University with a Master’s degree. He then became employed by New Horizon’s of the Treasure Coast as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
He recently joined Good News Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Harry Shaw.
Dennis was a great friend to everyone he met. Even though he had some struggles throughout his life that didn’t discourage him from being the kindest person you would ever want to meet.
On Saturday, September 30, 2017, Dennis J. Brophy found a sweet resting place in the arms of our Almighty God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Brophy and his aunt Rose Calise.
His memories will forever be cherished by his special friends; Cleo McCormick and Brandon Jones, Pastor Harry Shaw and family all of Ft. Pierce, FL as well as his co-workers of New Horizons of the Treasure Coast and his sisters and brothers in Christ at Good News Missionary Baptist Church.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 6:00 PM in the Good News Missionary Baptist Church, 510 N. 9th Street, Ft. Pierce. Refreshments will be served immediately after service.
