Delpha Mae Hensley
Delpha Mae Hensley, 97, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Russellville, Tn. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Eastern Star and served as a supervisor at an exotic plant farm. She loved gardening, quilting, reading and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a natural peacemaker and could bring comfort to anyone she met. She was born in Harlan County, Ky. Delpha was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Joseph Lawrence Hensley and daughter Janice Cubbedge.
She is survived by her son Paul Edward Hensley and daughters Linda Bartlett and Sharon Bowie; thirteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
